REDWEST was born in Italy in 2009, in a dusty Far West on the outskirts of Milan. Their signature sound — Spaghetti Western Metal — blends the epic atmosphere of old western movies with the raw power of metal, set in a post-apocalyptic world of deception, addiction, and madness.
Leading this outlaw gang are the Lurido (vocals & harmonica), the Randagio (guitars), the Straniera (backing vocals), and the Losco (bass).
After their debut EP “Spaghetti Western Metal” (2009), REDWEST released “Play Your Hand” in 2012, along with gritty videos like “Johnny Walker’s Farm”. In 2016 they dropped their first full-length album “Crimson Renegade”, recorded at Larsen Premoli’s RecLab Studio. In 2022 came the standalone single “Desert Snow Symphony”.
If you’ve ever dreamed of crossing desert wastelands to the sound of Morricone, dancing in filthy saloons under bullet rain, or riding into the unknown with dust in your throat — REDWEST is your soundtrack.
After years of silence, REDWEST is back in the saddle. New music is coming.
